Climate Protection Northwest, in Edmonds, Washington, was launched by Nick Maxwell, Ph.D., in April 2023 to contribute towards stopping the changes of climate change.
Through research, education, and advocacy, Climate Protection NW works to speed up the end of greenhouse-gas global-warming pollution.
Climate Protection NW employs a local-first evidence-based strategy, in which metrics are established, progress is monitored, and interventions are developed iteratively. Any methods that are locally successful are documented to support similar work elsewhere.
